- November 2001 - Engineering Management Group (EMG) selects CTO's Broadcast Group
to provide technical support during the reconstruction of Telemundo’s (TV Channel 47) for
the temporary and permanent transmitter site at Alpine, NJ and the Empire State Building
in New York after the 9/11/01 World Trade Center Attack.
- September 2001 - The City of New York, NY through the Department of Information
Technology andTelecommunications (DoITT) selects CTO to provide Consultant RF
Engineering services to include allnecessary skill-sets, labor, equipment and materials, for
the successful engineering, design, implementation supervision and systems acceptance
testing services to construct a turnkey, citywide multi-agency, digital, trunked, narrow-band
(12.5kHz) radio system. This radio network will use radio spectrum available on TV Channel
16 frequencies for the use of public-safety and emergency related functions. The system is
also known as the Channel 16 Radio System Network.
- July 2001 - Mr. Ken Graalum, ENP, a Staff Analyst with CTO was also named CTO's
SW Region Coordinator. In addition to his analyst duties, Mr. Graalum will be involved in
marketing CTO’s services in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri,

- February 2001 - Racine County, WI expands CTO's presence within the State of Wisconsin
with its award of a contract for a Staffing Study for a County-Wide Dispatch Center.
- January 2001 - Franklin Township, NJ selects CTO to perform an analysis and evaluation of
their Radio System.
